Oakley’s surfing partnership takes the sunglasses leader in high-intensity sport optics, and Oakley cements their place by providing the eyewear and sunglasses for the 2021 surf championship tour.
Already holding the reputation as the leading provider of sunglasses for surfing, Oakley further solidifies their place with their new partnership with the World Surf League. Being a longtime sponsor of the WSL and always at the pinnacle of the competition and the sport, Oakley will now provide the sunglasses for the competitors this year and beyond.
Furthermore, the Oakley Surfing line will be provided to all the staff through sunglasses and personal protective equipment, including the Clear Collection in an effort to further its devotion to the sport and athletes at large.

On tour for the 2021 World Surf League includes a strong lineup for the both the women and men side from Team Oakley, including Italo Ferreira, Julian Wilson, Jordy Smith, Griffin Colapinto, Macy Callaghan and Sage Erickson. They join the many surfing athletes vying for the ultimate prize that will kick off with a four-event Australian leg. The WSL finals will feature a one-day showdown with the best of the best in Lower Trestles, California.
With the partnership, Oakley will be the personal protection equipment (PPE) provider for the World Surf League and give its participants peace of mind in terms of their safety plans during the pandemic.
